What is Escape from Playtime?

Escape from Playtime is an Early Access co-op survival horror game from Mob Entertainment set in the Poppy Playtime universe. Play as a Smiling Critter exploring procedurally changing areas of the abandoned Playtime Co. factory while hunting for tools, parts, and a way out.

Your team must deliver collected resources to Barry and meet the demands of a mysterious Voice while hostile experiments stalk the halls. Eight playable Critters, proximity voice chat, unlockable characters, unpredictable routes, and a growing collection of survival tools make each run a new challenge.

Escape from Playtime Beginner Guide

Learn how to survive your first shift in Escape from Playtime, from choosing a Smiling Critter to collecting resources and escaping the factory. This beginner guide explains Barry's tribute quota, enemy avoidance, teamwork, and the essential steps for completing a successful run.

1Choose a Smiling Critter. CatNap, Hoppy Hopscotch, Bobby Bearhug, and DogDay are available from the start.

2Enter the Playcare School and explore its changing environment to collect items and resources requested by the mysterious Voice.

3Carry collected loot back to Barry, the deposit cart, and contribute enough resources to meet the tribute quota.

4Watch Barry's quota indicator, manage the shift timer, and avoid hostile toy experiments while searching for supplies.

5Once the quota is reached, follow the exit indicators and escape before the factory's hazards overwhelm your team.

Escape from Playtime Codes

Learn about Escape from Playtime redemption codes and learn how to redeem them through the in-game Settings menu. The Midnight CatNap skin code is a unique, single-use code included with the Midnight CatNap plush, not a publicly available free code.

1Obtain a legitimate Midnight CatNap skin code through the official limited-release Midnight CatNap plush purchase. Each eligible plush includes one unique code.
